A lot of restaurants stop seating guests and taking to-go orders well before they actually close. I went somewhere tonight at 9:34pm, their restaurant closes at 10:00pm. They said their kitchen had already closed so I couldn’t order food . I understand that the workers want to go home, but they should just say their restaurant closes at 9:30pm if they’re going to close it at 9:30pm. The closing time should be when the last time a restaurant will accept people inside to order food is. This would avoid so much confusion, and people driving somewhere only to realize it’s actually closed. I feel like people are going to get upset and tell me that the workers just want to go home. I completely understand that. Then they should just say they close earlier, and make the closing time the real closing time.
